Mary Debono and Spotzy

Hello! My name is Mary Debono, and I am a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner^CM with over 25 years experience with animals. Besides graduating from the four-year Feldenkrais® training program, I have studied animal massage, acupressure, kinesiology, psychology, and behavior.

The SENSE Method grew out of a life-long pursuit of improving animals' well-being, comfort, and performance. SENSE Method was strongly inspired by my training in the Feldenkrais Method® for people, and it is indeed my life's work.

In addition to teaching workshops, I maintain a busy private practice in Southern California. My clients include World Cup show jumpers, Grand Prix dressage mounts, equestrians of all levels, show and working dogs, family pets, and their people. My innovative work with both animals and people has been featured on TV news and radio and in newspapers and magazines.

I make my home in beautiful San Diego, California (USA), with my husband, Gary Waskowsky, and our two dogs. I am pictured above with my beloved Appaloosa, Spotzy (1980-2004). My husband Gary is also a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner^CM, and together we have created our exclusive Rollercise^TM product, which can instantly relieve your back and shoulder tension while improving your posture!
